Help with purchasing tickets

We have a place to stay, a way to get there, but, how to get in. Do you have any ideas about where we can purchase Disneyland tickets at a discount?? I want to be sure that they are real tickets and not fake ones.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you

I've been doing some research on this myself. How many days are you going? We are getting 4 day park hoppers and so far the best deal I've found is $10 off the online price. It's at ares travel.

There's a "Everyone Plays at the Kids Price" promotion for a 3 day hopper--- $149 each ticket, through April 30, 2009.

California Costco's has Deluxe AP's for $269 which is same as gate price. However, Costco includes a $50 Disney $'s cash card which can be used anywhere in DLR. The $50 can also be applied to upgrading to an AP with parking or to the premium pass.

I'm not sure how many have them left at this point. And this offer is only available at So Cal Costco's so us Nor Calers were outta luck. They did have this offer online briefly but it's gone now.

For discount tickets try Getawaytoday, I've never used them but I hear good things around here! Also Ares travel gets good reviews on these boards. Do NOT buy them from eBay as Disney tickets are non-transferable and there is NO way to confirm if you will get a pass with time left or if you're just outta luck.

Since Disneyland is in So Cal its easy to simply visit one on your way. I called a few Costco's and had them check stock. Most seem to have plenty as of today (I'm heading to DLR Friday). I do not know if they are restocking. Costco item # is 295609

But if they're only going 2-3 days, it's not really worth it. A 3-day PH is only $149. If they decide an AP would be great while they're at DL, they can upgrade. If not, it's all good.

It seems that the best buy is the adult pay for the kids price.
