Help with printing

We are working on printing our t-shirts this morning and following the directions to the letter. The colors are bleeding off the page. We've adjusted the quality of the image down, but it still is not helping. We're using the Hanes Oops proof dark t-shirt transfers. Any suggetions?

Are you placing them flat to dry ?

Not to be silly, but I have to ask -- are you sure you're printing them on the right side of the paper?

Yes, we were using the right side of the paper. We just went out and bought new Avery transfers and that made the difference. They are also the light transfers instead of the dark ones. I don't know if that would have made the difference. I think it was the Hanes transfers. I will stick with the Avery's from now on. Thanks for your replies.
