Okay Moms my baby is 10 weeks old what can I do about my pouchy tummy?:( This is my fourth so my belly has extra skin. If it wasn't for the extra skin my clothes would fit right. Is there something you guys swear by to suck it in. I have something that covers the belly and thighs. I don't like the thigh part but still need the belly coverage. Help! I hate the post baby body.

OK, I need clarifcation. Are you looking for an undergarment that'll hold you in, or a way to actually tone up the area?

If you're looking to tone, I did pilates after my second child, and was pleased with the results. It's not a bikini-ready belly, by any stretch, but my clothes fit and I look fairly flat in the belly area.

I will try Pilates. I have a video and it is something I can do at home. Until that starts working is there an undergarment that any of you guys use that sucks it in? Something to get me through that icky phase.

My son is 6 month and also #4, I'm having a heck of a time getting my body back and the weight won't come off. Probably because we're still nursing.

When you find out, let me know. My youngest is 7 and I'm still trying to figure it out. :lmao:

I'm still trying to loose mine too. Problem is that my baby is almost 2!
I've tried sit -ups and sit-ups and more sit-ups and I swear I must have the strongest set of tummy muscles but still the jub jub remains. I need some new ideas too...

I defin. agree with doing Pilates! It works wonders-- but it does take work. Unfortunately having babies does a number on our bodies. I've had to get over the fact that I will never have my pre-baby body back.
I have also heard great things about Spanx!

It's good to hear someone else has a hard time losing weight while nursing. I get so discouraged when I hear every other person say that they got back to pre-baby weight because of nursing. I'm always so hungry when I'm nursing.

Your baby is only ten weeks old! Don't be so hard on that belly! Keep eating and producing lots of milk! It'll come off soon if all that you have left right now is some extra skin!

I eat like I'm still pregnant, it's crazy!

I had a belly after my 3 which hung down a bit. Well after almost of year of being tired of the way i looked I decided to power walk and let me tell you it really worked on the belly fat. I would walk anywhere from 30-45 mins per day at a fast speed and it really targeted that area and also toned the legs. I would suggest giving that a try. Of course also a better diet with the right foods and it will work like a charm.
I would also like to add that a few months after having my child i joined Curves and went 3 to 4 times per week. (it didnt do too much for my fat and i pretty much looked the same) After over a year of being at Curves is when i decided to speed walk and would you believe that is when the fat started melting on my tummy. I then cancelled Curves as I felt i got much better results from the walking. I did do both in combination for a few months and the results were even better but i still gave it up and continue to walk today which has helped me keep my ok figure.

:thumbsup2 SPANX:thumbsup2 I WEAR I SIZE 6 AND I STILL WEAR THESE WHEN I HAVE ON SOMETHING TIGHT FITTING. ITS THE HOTTEST ITEM IN HOLLYWOOD!!!!

"Jub Jub" :rotfl2:

I agree that spanx are my best friend, I wear them almost every day! I am also a size 6 with a pesky tum tum (son is almost 2) and these really help hold it all in! Totally worth the price! Look online at one of the auction sites, also!

Okay...you sold me! So, I went to the Spanx website to look at what they have, and they have so many things! What do those of you that "muffin tops" use? I think it would be nice sometimes in the summer to be able to wear a cute tank top, and be smooth! I know that they sell camis, and what about the body shapers?

:rotfl: I was a size six until June of last year!

My son is 2 months old and I had a C-section. After my first (I was 18 and very fit) I shrunk back to normal right away. With my c-section and the added years, I have had a harder time with losing my weight. I have 20- 30 lbs to get rid of and I don't look bad, but I'm not able to fit in my clothes right. My ab muscles still ache when I do sit ups so I haven't tried that yet, but I love my eliptical machine and it is helping me to regain toned muscles. I was also on bedrest so I think it made me lose some muscle too! I hate the flab, maybe I'll try spanx too!! I did buy a belly cincher but I hate the way it feels so constricting!

:thumbsup2 i have the seamless upper thigh shorts!! they are wonderful. they also have a before and after to show you what each product does

Awww he is a cute little guy. Let me tell you those babies are worth getting fat for! Joining a Gym with daycare in the AM.

I will share my post babies (I had twins) belly story and you will understand why I love Spanx. My hubby and I just went out for out 10th anni. I wore a dress type thing with tights under it. Well to back up.. the first time I wore it I wore it with Spanx underneath it. I looked pretty good, felt pretty good too. Then we went out for out anni. Did not wear the Spanks (slow laundry week I have twins and a 5year old as well) and not one but 2 people asked me when I was due. :rotfl2: So I say Spanx lots of different types to chose from. And really cut yourself some slack we have all been there Just enjoy the baby and dont worry about your tummy for now.
