Help with planning

We are going to the MK on a party day. We plan to be there before park open. I have a FP for 7dmt but it isn't until 4:40 pm. Should we head to 7DMT at rope drop and cancel the fp hoping we can get use it at another time? Or stick with it and head in a different direction at rope drop?
We also have a 11 fp at PP and 12 at BTMR

Opinions? Suggestions?

i would recommend keeping that FP+.

i'd also recommend dropping PP FP+. you won't go through the interactive line and if you do it at RD instead you won't be waiting in line more than a couple minutes anyways.

you can get so much done at RD if you don't plan on going straight to 7DMT or A&E

generally before it starts getting crowded i can do PP, IASW, mickey's philharmagic, winnie the pooh, under the sea, and HM.
even after that you will proably have time to do something else before your BTMRR FP+.

I think we need more information! I was there last week and the waits for PP were really 70 minutes or longer even early in the day. Ages, overall plan? Are you starting in FL?

I agree. Definitely keep the 7DMT fp. Those are hard to come. I was just there in September and couldn't get my hands on one. Also, I would keep the Peter Pan one. That line is always really long when I have been there. Even during slow seasons that is usually one of the longest lines I run into. Being there at rope drop you will be able to get everything else done. Those 3 fastpasses will save you time. I hope it all works out =)

I would say keep it..... 7DMT is a tough FP to get and there is no guarantee that the wait for it won't be 30+ minutes at rope drop.

OP here - Thanks for the thoughts. Not sure if we should start in FL or not. We are 2 adults and a 13 yo. Characters aren't a priority. Like I said we have fp+ for pp, btmr and 7dmt. The next day we are back at the MK for MNSSHP only and have fp+ for 7dmt, space and buzz.

Now that the trip is finally here I'm starting to stress.

i always start in FL as i can get SOOOO much done and "out of the way" early in the day.
and i don't really think age matters. whether i'm going with toddlers or adults i stick to the same strategy.
my trip in december is a bit wacky due to only going to MK from 4pm-12am but if i were to have gone at RD i would have done FL first for sure.
