hello,
me and my BF will be going to disney world this aug.
i havent been to WDW in about 7 years, i've been too all the sites :surfweb: there are
and i just need tips, this is the first time i will be going w/o parents (which before they planed every thing), now i'm on my own.
there is so much to see and so much to do :confused3 . i dont want to do something that will take up half the day and be a total waste of time. we will be going for 5 days 6 nights. i'm not sure on what to bring :scratchin (taking up space i really dont need to take up). what to see, and i also do not want to buy something that cost $50 and end up not liking it (pal mickey, collecting pins..ect. :sad2: ). and which resturants you guys would recommend. i also had some quesitons about the magical express,(if any one has tried it) i'm a little afraid that our luggage will not arive on time, or at all :guilty: . so please if there is any one that could sugest 1 or more of these things that would be wonderful! thanks again!
oh yea 1 more thing. what should we bring into the parks them selfs... thanks again!

one more thing my BF's birthday will be during our trip is there anything i can do to suprize him?

Make a list of must do's for each park--you already know that you can't see and do everything so pick those things that you really don't want to miss. Be sure and make time for the parades as well as Wishes, Fantasmic and Illuminations. As far as meals, I usually decide which park we will be in each day and then pick our meals based on that. I can't really help with what to bring in the parks since we travel with 3 kids we carry quite a bit of stuff. If you are early risers, you may want to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hour morning for each park. Depending on when you are going in August it can get pretty busy; getting to the parks early is a good way to do a lot of the popular attractions with little to no wait. Visit here: http://allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm for ideas on dining. Stay calm and ask lots of questions here -- everyone loves to help :sunny:

In regards to what to bring in the park, I usually take camera, extra batteries, film or media cards, money, a portable rain poncho which I usually get at home for under $1, autograph book and pen. The more you buy at home and carry with you the more money you will have.

In regards, to your BF's bday, you should tell the hotel, all the disney hotels will usually do something a card and a balloon or something. Also, go to Guest services at the park the day of his birthday and ask for a birthday button, everyone will be saying hi and the characters will notice it during parardes. Any table service restaurant you eat in that day, just tell the waitperson that it is his bday they usually sing and give him a cupcake.

Have a great time!!
