Thank you....great site to get ideas. It does confuse me though cause then there are all these other ways and I doubt what I thought would be great
A few of you have noted that Fantasmic is scary. That surprises me...and didn't even occur to me...as (1) is uses Disney characters (2) it is one of the earlier firework shows so you think this would be tailored to the younger crowd. ho hum...let me look inot this more as my (then) 5 year old is a big wimp.
I think the above comment is just confusion. I have planned the days so that no park hopper is needed...so we wouldn't be purchasing one. My understanding is for the Halloween party, it is a separate ticket and you don't need MK tickets...which is why it works mixing it with a different park that we may not want a full day at such as Epcot
My 6-year-old hid her face and cried through the entire show. For all practical purposes the premise is, "what would it look like if Mickey had a nightmare?".
To be fair, "creepy" is where my daughter draws the line. She was also a little wigged out by the music at the Indiana Jones Stunt show, and would not look at Darth Vader. OTOH, she would have done Summit Plumet if I had let her. It's Tough To Be a Bug in Animal Kingdom was also kind of scary for her, but she said she wants to do it again next time. She has no interest in ever seeing Fantasmic! again.
