Help With Party Favor Idea

My DD is in daycare/preschool. She will be 4 at the end of August, and this is the year where everyone in the class is having b-day parties. Because DD's b-day is so close to another child in the class, his mom and I are going to have a joint party. It will most likely be at a gymnastics/sports center, but big inflatables will be there. Because kids must where socks when jumping :yay: in those inflatables, my idea  is to include a pair of socks in the goodie bag. Of course, then I started wondering if I could maybe get a customized pair that says "thanks" or the school name, or something on it.

Does anyone know of any companies that could customize children's socks?

Thanks!

Maybe try Oriental Trading? :confused3 or if you're up to it doing the puff paint sounds like a winner to me

The best favor idea I also got at the MANY bday parties my son went to. One mom bought large bouncy balls(the kind you see at Walmart in a tall bin) and wrote with a sharpie: Nice bouncin' with you and then her child's name. She held them in large garbage bags and then passed them out at the end. My kids acted like they had never seen a ball before! They played with it non stop and we still have them after many months. Since you are planning a gymnastics party, I think the "bounce" note will be perfect!

The goodie bags are customarily given out at the end of the party, so I probably wouldn't do socks since they won't be used during the party.

I would do bouncy balls or a personalized water bottle

Good point about the bags being given at the end, but since the party is in the summer how many kids will "forget" their socks because they are wearing flip flops and sandals. I would be thankful as I have seen parents who has had to buy the $4 socks before :scared1:

You could buy the cute character socks in the target bin for $1 or buy the girls the long socks that the older girls wear 3 packs are usually around $5 at walmart. If they realize it is what the older girls wear they will think they are soooo cool!

I like the water bottle idea and bouncy balls, too.
