Can someone please help me develop a list of things I will be needing. We are planning on stopping at a store on our way in from the airport. We are staying at Formosa Gardens, if anyone can suggset a place to shop on the way, that will be great also!! TIA.:)

Bump...

We'll be staying in FG this November. I know that there is a Publix heading west down 192... maybe like 3 miles. So it isn't "on the way" from the airport, but it isn't far out of the way either. There's a Super Target fairly close heading east and a Super Walmart off Poinancia, so depending on how you travel from the airport, that might be on your way. But it will be interesting to find out if there's anything on the way from the airport that isn't way out of the way.

I heard that there's a Whole Foods store opening somewhere on Sand Lake Rd, so maybe it will be ready by the time we arrive.

You should check with the mc or the owner about what they supply in terms of consumables for the house. Our house just comes with a "starter pack" like a few rolls of TP, a roll of paper towels, a little soap etc, so I'll know we'll have a fairly hearty shopping list since we plan to eat some meals at the house.

Here's some basics to consider:
papertowels
paper plates
toilet paper
foil
plastic wrap
dish soap
hand soap
dishwasher detergent
laundry detergent & fabric softener
trash bags

Don't worry if you forget to get something - there is a supermarket (sorry don't recall the name) at the Formosa Gardens Shopping area :)

I would just go right to Formosa Gardens and get settled and then either go up to the MarketPlace in Formosa Gardens strip mall which would only be 2 or 3 min away or go to Publix which is west on 192 by Orange Lake about 5min away. Then you could get an idea of what's at the house and what you need to get.

You should only need to get your consumable items - everything else you need will likely be provided. Winn-Dixie is closer, but Publix is better value!
