We are staying at Pop and will most likely be at the resort when it is time to checkin 24hrs prior to our flight. We are flying southwest. My question is, is there a way to check into our flight at 24hrs prior to hopefully get a decent boarding pass? We thought about bringing our laptop but we really dont want to and dont want to have to pay a fee just for this reason if there is a way to do it at the resort without our personal laptop. Thanks

You can go down to the front desk if you are at your resort. You can also go to guess services at the parks/DTD and have it done there. If you have internet on your phone SW has a mobile check-in that can be done and then you can print your boarding passes when you get back to the resort.

Early Bird Check IN (EBCI) is perfect for this situation. Pay the $10 extra and you will not have to worry about finding a computer or using your phone, etc at the 24hr mark. Southwest checks you in automatically with any effort on your part at the 36hr point.

Otherwise as others stated...Go to front desk with your confirmation numbers. They will go online, check you in and print passes. I've done it many times before the ECBI process started. Using an internet capable phone works but the it seems slow and frustrating (IMO)

Whereas I don;t use ECBI when leaving home I do use it on the return end so that I don't have to interrupt fun to checkin.

What if I have a computer but don't want to bother the front desk?

Can I check in 24 hrs before and print what I need to at the airport later?

I've only flown Southwest once before and I do not remember what I did last time!

Thanks!

Yes, you can check in and then print your vouchers later. We printed ours from the hotel concierge desk. They may be willing to check you in around 24 hours ahead of your flight as well, but they don't guarantee anything- ultimately the responsibility is yours.

The PP above was also correct- you can go to Guest Services at any park and they should be able to help you. I'm sure they get this request multiple times per day.

But like others have said, for the return trip we usually cough up the extra $10 for early bird check-in so we don't have to worry about it. You're also pretty much guaranteed a very good boarding number.

If you want to checkin at the 24 hour mark using your computer and do not have a printer, you can reprint your boarding passes at the airport at the Southwest Counter - or from one of their kiosks at the airport (near the Southwest counter).
