Help with One day MK

Hello,
I'm so thoroughly confused with the new system. Could someone help with a plan of attack. We are a party of 6, 3 adults and 3 teens, youngest is 13. So we don't mind skipping tea cups, winnie and dumbo, and it's a small world rides.
We only have one day and we picked MK. My mother, 55 is coming with us and never been to WDW. I appreciate any help you can give.
Also, we have a reservation at Crystal palace at 8:15.

You should have everyone in your group review what's there and each pick a handful of favorites. None of us can intelligently do that for you. Then maybe take that list and prioritize them, the green link in my signature may help with that a little.

Can you get an earlier reservation for breakfast? If you.can you can finish breakfast and start the attractions sooner. Undercover tourist has great touring plans. I'd have a plan in mind for what rides you do want. If you can't get earlier breakfast reservations stay with what you have start at the back of the park and work forward. Utilize the fast pass system. You can schedule 3 rides in advance for times working for you. Not all of you have to do,the same fast passes it can be individualized. If you have not already set up an account at My Disney Experience I'd do that to plan and schedule fast passes. If you like the parades and fireworks if there are two show times go to the second parade and continue touring while others are at the first parade etc. Hope this helps.

Should be doable. I'd recommend Pan over Buzz (BLY) for a FP. You can see Wishes from outside BOG (not inside), but some effects will be in opposite directions.
