I'm in need of a bit of help....

I'm looking at booking a last minute disney holiday  for September.
I have looked around and it's cheapest through US Disney and free dining. We are only looking at a week as have it planned for 2 weeks+ cruise next year.

With MYW base tickets, I know you can't park hop but if you have an 8 day ticket and you don't go into a park one day can you use it on another day and go into 2 parks in one day (I.e. Not go in on the first night?).

Also we are looking at flying Delta through Boston, anyone flown this route of with Delta as we have no experience of this. Plus we only have an 1 and a half to reconnect, is this long enough and what's the process when we land there?

Thank you for your help:banana:

Park hopping is when you do two parks (or more) in one day - you cannot do this with a MYW base ticket. Sorry.

Can't help with your other question.

no, if you don't have a park hopper ticket, you can only go into one major park per day...
you cannot go into two different parks, using two different days of tickets..
many people make this mistake...
if you go onto the theme parks page, there is a sticky explaining all the ins and outs of magic your way tickets...

in any case, the ONLY way to go to more than one major park in a day when using a magic your way ticket is if you add on park hopper privileges..

as for flying indirect -
when you fly indirect, you will cross passport control and customs in the first entry point into the US....
so if you fly through boston, this will be boston...

when you land in boston, you will first go through immigration (passport control), then you will go to the luggage carousel and pick up your luggage....then you go through customs....then you hand your luggage back at a connecting desk....
then you'll claim it again when you get to orlando, but when you arrive in orlando, you will be a regular domestic passenger.....no immigration and no customs...

by the way, when you check in for your flight in the UK, you will check your bags all the way to orlando.....be sure they check them all the way..
you will still need to go through customs in boston, but when you hand them back to the connecting desk, they will already be checked to orlando...

Thanks for all your help.

I thought that was probably the case with the tickets but hoping for the best you know.

Do you think we will have a enough time to do all the customs, passport control etc in 1.5 hours and re-board, what happens if we miss it?

Sorry for all the questions, normally go direct and with a package so this is all new to us.

Hi.
If u looking to take the Delta 271 (arrives 1:15PM) to Boston and taking the Delta 1699 (leave 2:45) to Orlando that 1hr,30min transfer time have been approved by Delta. (this means that its enough time if things are on schedule).
This also means that if you miss your connection flight you will be put on the next Delta (or Skyteam fight) available out of Boston where seats are available. (they run almost every hr or more often).
If you take the DL 271 from LHR the equipment used are Boing 767-400.
This have an 2-3-2 configuration. This is also an quite old aircraft.
Delta have an great personal entreatment system in every seat on all their long distance flight.
This aircraft also offer usb power in your seat.
On the inland Delta aircraft's (bos-orl) you dont have personal screen but you can by wi-fi for 13 $ so you can surf the web onboard if you have a pc with you.
As always remember that US carriers do NOT offer free alcoholic drinks.
And stuff bought on the plane HAVE to be paid for by credit card.

Im also going in September on Delta (from Amsterdam).
Have a great trip:goodvibes

Roger.
