I know many of you frequent posters have been asked for help about ADR's many many times and I apologize that this is another one of those threads! ;)

I'm looking to make 3-4 ADR's with my girlfriend for our trip at CBR. I want atleast 1 with a romantic atmosphere, the rest I am just requesting good food and good atmosphere. We are not big eaters, but I love to eat food (I just can never finish my meal!) And I dont care about the price much except that I wont be bringing a jacket so restaurants requiring a jacket are out. Also, we are picky eaters. We are not big on seafood, but I do like lobster, crab legs and shrimp. My girlfriend mostly likes chicken and other healthy meals like pasta etc. I like steak, chicken and I am willing to experiment, Italian food is my favorite and I get enough good Italian food in Jersey so I'm not requiring an Italian dinner.

I am definately doing California Grill, and I am really considering doing Coral Reef for lunch and doing a custom menu. I am looking for 2-3 more for lunch / dinner. I was considering Jiko (decent menu, nice atmosphere), Whispering Canyon (good atmosphere), Le Cellier (Good steak) and Bistro de paris (romantic atmosphere, menu looked ehh). Any input on those choices and any other recommendations are appreciated!

Thanks in advanced for all your help!

Coral Reef doesn't have custom menus any longer..A Cast Member told me today b/c I asked :( Although we do get a free glass of champagne b/c we're celebrating our Anniversary, albeit early..since we can't go in June.

I have been to 50's Prime Time cafe..it's not romantic, but the theming is pretty cool..It's like those old kitchens with the metal tables and t.v's that show old commercials.

We're going 4/3-4/12 and could only get lunch at Le Cellier...BUT the CM told me there are always cancellations :)

Other than that, I hear San Angel Inn is very romantic :)

Hope this helps.

Just as an FYI: the signature dining restaurants do not require a jacket, just business casual, which is essentially no jeans, tanks, swimwear, etc. I think a collared shirt would be fine. I think the only retsaurant that requires a ajcket is Victoria & Alberts

For a romantic meal you could try to get Le Cellier. It was definatily the most romantic while we were on our honeymoon. Yachtman's steakhouse would also be nice.

As for good food: some of our fave meals have been at 50's prime time but it depends on what kind of food you are looking for. 50's orime time is more "home style meals" . We also really enjoy Ohana's although I have heard some negative reviews lately.

Probably one of the most romantic restaurants in the world (Diney not literal) is Narcoossee's. Maybe I am a little biased because I will recommend this restaurant to anyone but it's beautiful. I think anyone who tells you otherwise is lying when they say it isn't.

It is, however, considered "seafood" but I just recently started eating seafood so it had always been in my mind and I was able to eat there fine. Their hearts of romaine salad is one of my favorites, and it's so simple.

They had seasonal vegetables, chicken for the health nut :goodvibes too!

And for you, either a whole maine lobster or surf n' turf (warm water lobster and filet mignon)...

Have I mentioned the almond crusted cheesecake yet? YUUUUUM.

Thanks for all your responses! This is a my rough draft:

California Grill - Dinner
Mama Melrose - Dinner (Fantasmic Package)
Coral Reef - Lunch
Boma - Dinner Buffet
Le Cellier - Dinner / Lunch

I may be considering Narcoossee's, it looks very nice and I love the Grand Floridian. I'm just trying to avoid forcing my GF to pick that 1 Chicken meal at most of these restaurants! Thanks for all your help so far! Sorry my GF only likes chicken!

Coral Reef was very good when we went.
9 Dragons--AWESOME!
I agree with OP 50s PT isn't romantic, but fun with good food.
1900 PF dinner is awesome too. Good food, Good variety. Great "show" with the step mother and sisters...Cindy and the Prince celebrating their anniversary--Isn't that romance???

I may consider squeezing Hoop- De - Doo in there, that's something my corny GF would probably be interested in. Is that something a couple in their mid 20's would be interested in? :thumbsup2

Coral Reef would be a great choice for atmosphere, but the food might not be best for your gf. I'm the same way in that I don't care for seafood and mostly like chicken and pasta. I really wanted to eat there this year, but the menu is just not going to work for me. I'd have a choice, essentially, between a NY strip steak and a chicken dish. Neither of which sounded that good to me.

Have you considered Tony's in Magic Kingdom? I know some people are "eh" about the food, but I really enjoyed it. My entire family did. The atmosphere is very nice as well, especially the Lady & the Tramp fountain. We did a late lunch there last year, and it was Heavenly quiet, especially compared to the madness outside. :crowded:

So my travel agent was able to book 3 more nights due to the buy 4 nights, get 3 free deal going on. I'm starting to finalize my ADR list and here's what it looks like!

Le Cellier (Dinner)
Mama Melrose (Fantasmic Package)
Coral Reef (Lunch)
California Grill (Dinner)
Boma (Dinner)
1900 Park Fare (Dinner)
Sci Fi (Lunch)

What do you guys think? Might be looking to add 1 more to that list. I was thinking about Hoop De Doo, but Im not sure if that is a "couples" type place, although I've heard it is fun! I have been also considering San Angel, I love tacos n such and that would be a nice change of taste but I looked at their menu and it didnt seem to have tacos!
