Help with MK plan

We have a family trip coming up in May (4 adults and 4 kids) and just finished making ADRs, which include a PPO 8:05 breakfast reservation at BOG for our MK day. We've enjoyed this breakfast once before and the kids all love being inside Belle's castle and especially seeing the West Wing - and it was also nice to be able to get in line for one ride on 7DMT or Fairytale Hall before the full crowd got there.

Now, I see that Disney just scheduled Early Morning Magic in Fantasyland for this day, which will likely impact the touring benefit of the PPO ADR but other posters have said they were still able to get in line early for one ride. Because we like the breakfast, I was going to hang on to this reservation and just go with it.

Now, I see that Disney also scheduled an After Hours Villains event for this same day. We would not go to an after hours event because our kids are too small, but we would be coming back to the park after an afternoon resort break for Happily Ever After. I'm nervous now that the after hours event will bring in an even bigger crowd than the usual crush for the fireworks that night. Has anyone found this to be the case?

Wondering if I should try to move a bunch of other things around to move our MK day to a different day or not.

I was an After Hours attendee in February. I got to the park around 7:15 or so and decided to see the fireworks. Had no issues getting a decent view of the projections (was a few yards past Casey's). I didn't really notice a significant difference in crowding. Honestly, I think most are going to take advantage of that extra time before the official start to hit a few of the rides
