We are going to the Orlando area but only have time to visit one Disney park and we have picked MGM,mainly because we have been there and the others and enjoy this one the most. However the park has changed since we visited last and was wondering what are definates for our day there??Also which characters will we definately see for sure there??And one final question do you know where in Disney other then the Pooh and friends lunch that we can meet Piglet??Thank You!!:bounce:

According to the "Characters at a Glance" page on allearsnet.com Click Here Piglet has an "occasional" sighting. It says "See Times Guide". We were there in September and saw Pooh, Piglet and Tigger in the central area in front of the big wizard hat (near Great Movie Ride).

Must do's for this park (IMO) are Rock n' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, Fantasmic, Great Movie Ride, Back Lot Tour, and the Indiana Jones stunt show.

The allearsnet site I linked above has some great planning info as well.

HTH!

As far as attractions goes...Tower of Terror, Rockin Roller Coaster, Star Tours, Muppets (if you're into them), Fantasmic, Who Wants to Be A Millionaire and Voyage of the Little Mermaid are the MUST DO's a MGM Studios.

We also saw Piglet in front of the Sorcerer's Hat - it was late afternoon. Make sure you get a daily/weekly schedule when you enter and there should be some character greeting times specified. We saw more characters at MGM in one day than we did over several days at MK..... don't know if we were just lucky or what.

Have fun!

Thank you all for your help.I am holding out some hope that we might actually get to see Piglet,so many others that I spoke with said that you rarely ever see him but it sounds like he might be pretty regular.I know all three of the Toy Story people are there, is that correct??Where are they??Also who else, meaning character might we see and one more thing,is it possible to see most of the characters and do the attractions in a day??Also what parade does MGM have,is it a good one??Thanks again.princess:

The have the Motor Cars Parade that we missed (due to Drew Carey's Sounds Dangerous--never again) that started somwhere around 3pm. You get to see the cool cars and lots of Disney characters.

Yes it is possible to see the characters and do the attractions in one day, just have a plan.

The main characters you can see there are Mickey Mouse on Mickey ave, Toy Story at Al's toy Barn, JO JO Circus on Mickey Ave, and now they also have the incredibles in front of the giant Mickey hat.

I will pm you with 2 terriffic sites that give you loads of info on MGM. I found them both extremely helpful, One will give you all the show times so you can really plan your day and get it all done.

The star cars and motor car parade I happen to think is one of the best. You see a variety of characters dressed up in unique outfits and they sit in convertible cars. It is truly a must see!!!

I hope this helps.
