Has anyone purchased meal vouchers from someone they can recommend? Is there a list of restaurants--I imagine it isn't any good for character meals--how about EPCOT restaurants

acutally they are good for character meals. I am really considering adding it to our plan. if you did the MYW plan then it can be added up to 3 days in advance.. just talked to rep this morning about it. also here is a link to the web site that shows what is out there in the way of restaurants. http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm hope that helps
I think the OP may be referring to meal vouchers that were sold at Hotwire Savings Club, Connections123 and SImpleEscapes. None of those companies carry meal vouchers anymore (HSC is actually defunct).
There is a website that sells Q&C (Quick & Casual) vouchers for $16.95 + tax + shipping. The price is over-inflated for the actual buying power of the voucher. Q&C's are good for a platter, large beverage and dessert at select counterservice restaurants. They cannot be used for character meals.
You can also check out this thread: Found other Q&C vouchers!! . There's a link to a website (a sister site of the above-mentioned site), that sells the Q&C's for $14.50 + shipping. You would need to get the code from a participating company to place an order. A fellow DISer, Calypso*a*go-go, has PM'd some members with the code. If you're interested in purchasing the Q&Cs, check out the thread and post a request for the code to be PM'd to you.
The other vouchers that used to be around (the VKL and the Breakfast Vouchers) are no longer available. It was great while it lasted. We ate some very nice meals at restaurants we might not have tried otherwise.
Vouchers used to be available for the character meals, but I understand that they're a thing of the past. They allowed you to save $2-4 per person on a character meal.
The only vouchers available now are the Quick and Casual vouchers, which are for fast-food places (yes, some in Epcot). They run $16 or so (more on ebay), which means you'll lose money almost everywhere. They're a convenience thing -- not a money-saver.
