Help with Meal Plan

Friends we are travelling with in October want to do the meal plan for two days in the parks. As I have never had fast food there, which places are the best? Are there any dishes better than others? Or are we going to be eating burgers and pizza for two days?

Friends we are travelling with in October want to do the meal plan for two days in the parks. As I have never had fast food there, which places are the best? Are there any dishes better than others? Or are we going to be eating burgers and pizza for two days?

There are only three restaurants at each park that participate in the meal plan. At the Studios, Louie's is the best of the three. They serve pizza, pasta and salads...the pizza is excellent!

The restaurants are: Louie's, Mel's and International Food & Film Festival at the Studios and The Burger Digs, Comic Strip Cafe and Circus McGurkus Café Stoo-pendous at IOA. At IOA, the Comic Strip Cafe has the best selection. They have American, Italian, Seafood and Chinese.

My personal favorite is Thunder Falls Terrace but it's not on the meal plan.

i only do the meal deal on days i don't plan to do much on rides.
it would be a day i just walk around, look at things, shop and take pictures.

when i do it, i only buy the promo for the studio side.
i love Louie's for the pizza/salad and meatball sandwich.
i can never walk away from there without getting a couple of slices of pizza

ifff is also a fave of mine.
the fried chicken dinner, one of the chinese dishes, the fruit salad, are really good there.

the restaurants open at 11 for the meal deal.
they stop honoring the plan 30 minutes before park closing time.

since you are going october time period, the studio side will be closing at 5 on scheduled hhn dates. probably at 6 for non hhn nights.
