Has anyone stayed at the Grande Lakes? Was it nice? Does it have a resort feeling? Please help with anything you can. Thanks. :wave2:

Do you mean Grande Vista? There are a number of Marriotts in Orlando but none of them are named Grande Lakes.

oh if you found a great discount - anything under $300 a night for this hotel - please say where you found the discount.

spiceycat I can get a room there using my marriott points, so it would not cost me anything to stay there for 5 nights, but I only want to use my points (a lot of them!) if this is truly a nice resort

there are a bunch of other marriotts in the area - some much closer to WDW that are alot cheaper.

I would think even using points.

even the marriott world center is probably cheaper than this thing.

This is a GREAT hotel and depending on the point differential it probably is well worth it. (I wouldn't book a stay anytime, but if you can get a Standard Reward it's probably not that much more) Much nicer then the World Center or any other Marriott in the MCO area. (Or in a lot of other areas for that matter)

We love the JW Marriott. Yes it does have a resort feel. They share a spa with the Ritz Carlton. The pool is wonderful. The restaurants we enjoyed very much.

We have stayed at the JW 3 times and always enjoyed it. Also, it's not that far of a drive from Disney.

Hope this helps,
Liz

Carola it is the same # of points as MOWC, so I guess you would suggest the JW. Thanks for your input.
mliz thank you too for your comments. :)
