We are staying off-site at a vacation rental (very excited about the house and so we don't want to change locations) and I am trying to figure out if walking would be a better bet than the rental car I have reserved. There are 5 adults and 2 kids (2 1/2 and 6) in our group.
We will be very close to the Best Western Pavilions. I had read reviews that say it is an easy 15 or 20 minute walk from there and some people talk about cutting through a parking lot and then being in Downtown Disney.
"We could cross the road and walk thru the cast members carpark to get to Downtown Disney in 5 minutes."
Does anyone have experience with walking from that hotel (time to get to security, best route we would take etc.)? Just wondering if this walk would be easier than the park the car tram thing after reading so much here.
So far I think these are our options
1. Walk (not sure of route to take)
2. ART passes and use the stop near Best Western Pavilions
3. Rental car (maybe drop everyone off and have one person deal with parking and tram)
Thanks so much for any help you can give us
