Help with making Fast Pass reservations, please

I haven't been to WDW since the new FP reservation system came into play. In our previous trips, you still inserted your card into the machines and got paper tickets that could be used at anytime after the window. Back then, our strategy was to get to the parks early, ride the big attractions as many times as we could while the crowds were lower, and then collect FPs to be used after we came back to the parks in the evening after a nap.

Now, I have no idea what the best plan is? Which FPs should I be booking for each park ahead of time? We have one full day in each park with no hoppers.

As noted the FP FAQ is a great place to start.
If you are a member of Touring Plans, they also have good suggestions on what FPs to get in each park.
in general:
MK 7DMT and Peter Pan seem to be the busiest.
AK FoP, Navi
HS all of Toy Story Land, SDD and Alien Swirling Saucers FPs seem to ge fastest.
EPCOT Test Track, Frozen Ever After or Soarin (can only pick 1 of those, tiered FPs)

Rides are Tiered in Epcot, Studios, and AK.

Choose your highest priority Tier 1 that’s described in the FP FAQ and then choose 2 Tier 2s. After you have entered the FP line for FP#3, go into the app and book another FP of any Tier.

I'd recommend reading up on using the refresh strategy for FP's especially since it's just 2 people. You should be able to use FP throughout the day and avoid most standby lines.

I'm told FP are easier to get with just a party of two. Get your must dos down on paper, it'll be easier to figure out that way. You'll find some great help here!
