Hey All,
I think (read: know) that this is in the wrong forum, however i'd get more exposure this way ;). I need all of your advice and years of wisdom.

My wife and I will be spending our long awaited honeymoon together (2 yrs in the making; i'm lucky that i'm still alive). I need adivce on what i can plan.

Sounds easy enough i know here's the catch, my wife and I are Jewish and we only eat kosher food, so alot of the Dining Experience is more or less thrown out of the window. I guess i just need some ideas as to what can be romantic, and how to get her to appreciate the beauty that WDW has to offer.

We are spending 3 days at AKL but i need to book another 3-4 days and i would love to know what resort would be the best (i hope this doesn't become a debate). Should I inform them of my HM? How accomodating are they?
Any and All advice that could be given would be greatly appreciated.
We'll be there Jun 26th-July10th
Anyone wanting to come along is more than welcome :thumbsup2

TIA,
DisneyLover

Welcome to the Dis, you will find more information here than you ever wanted to know.

As for a second resort may I reccomend any of the Epcot resorts? We have stayed at both the Yacht Club and Boardwalk and both are wonderful. The location can't be beat (just walk to Epcot or a boat ride to MGM)

Let them know when you make your reservations that it's your honeymoon....also, let any restaurant you make ressie's at know that you need kosher foods, as far as the second hotel...I also recommend an EPCOT resort....Beach Club, Yacht Club, or Boardwalk! If you want to save some $ on a room, go to Coronado Springs..it's beautiful!

Congratulations and have a magical trip!
By the way, we'll be celebrating our 30th Anniversary on June 26!!

First of all--enjoy your honeymoon! Remember it--you'll look back fondly on this time when you have grown your family. You won't miss your time alone--you'll just be glad that you had that time together.

Anyhoo--I have a couple suggestions.

You can take a horse and carriage ride. I think its $35 and its an hour in a darling horse and carriage. Very romantic at twilight. When we went, they told us that we could bring our own drinks--so maybe a little champagne to toast your sweetie!

I think I would definitely mention it was my honeymoon when making dinner reservations if you're able to find a menu suitable for your diet. At the very least, they will congratulate you when you sit down.

I would also think about having flowers or something sweet sent to the room. Maybe not the day you check in, but have it delivered the next day, so its waiting for you when you get back from the parks.

Have a wonderful time!

Mention it's your honeymoon every chance you get! See if there is anything they can do in your hotel room for it.
If you like this sort of thing, you can get very cute Mickey/Minnie bride and groom ears. Theyre so adorable and people will notice that youre on a honeymoon if you wear them! :bride: :groom:
I have always thought the Polynesian looked romantic, look into that resort.
I dont know ANYTHING about kosher foods, so forgive me if this is a contridiction, but I recommend the Coral Reef restaurant because it is so beautiful to watch the fish in the giant tank window... again I dont even know if you eat fish and whatnot :confused3 but if you do... its a great place

Good luck    have fun!!!

Uhmmm...nothing, but nothing, beats a torch lit walk along the pathways at the Polynesian for romance

Congratulations on your honeymoon! Have fun!
