Help with London

Hi guys, thanks for your posts & best wishes... Iam really excited about seeing the shows. I have seen all of them before (except Mary Poppins) :goodvibes

About the pre show meals, I am worried we won't get in without a reservation... can you just walk in no problem?

How long a walk is it from the Savoy to the theatre area... should I figure 15-20 minutes? or is it more like a half hour++

Thanks!

PS I am having a hard time figuring out what to pack because of your big heatwave. I am on a cruise for 10 days prior which goes up to Inverness/Glasgow/Edinburgh/Wales/Belfast/Dublin so I need formal clothes for night and casual clothes for day.. summery stuff for if it's hot and warmer stuff for if t's cool & rainy. I have a huge pile of clothes on my dining room table and I am really having a hard time deciding.

My trip is Aug 10 - 20 on the cruise.

and then Aug 20 - 26 in London (will it be cooler by then?)

thanks

Pre shows I would recommend booking your hotel can help
Cruise have a good one I think it will be cooler up there.
Walk as you do not know the area 20 mins to most Phantom is a bit of a walk across Leicester sq and Piccadilly to Haymarket, i could do it in about 15 mins but you should allow 30 for that to ensure you do not get run over with our traffic,
London Who knows we are lookng at 36c near 100f again this week, could last until August and the end of it, but it can Rain as well.

My guess, this will last all summer! but plan for everything Sun Rain wind etc.
