Help with Le Cellier reservation

I made a reservation with Canadian restaurant for four people, but we now have an additional person going. WDW dine says not available for 5 people during stay, so my question is this. Is the seating booths, or tables with 4 chairs? I was wondering if we could get away with squeezing 5th person in at table for 4 if possible. Hate to lose my spot. If there are tables with 4 chairs, I know this would be most likely impossible.

I am pretty sure its only tables w/ chairs. Have you tried a reservation for 6 instead of 5? I think it would be best to show up with one less person than one extra person. Good Luck!

It is table and chairs set up. You may be able to call the restaurant directly to see if they can help you out or check with your resort concierge as soon as you arrive. Sometimes they can pull some strings. Good luck!

It was all tables and chairs. I did not see any booths that I recall. Keep checking the reservations though as people do change their ADR's. I'd check frequently (but don't let the one you have go) even up to departure day if you have to for an opening. I was able to snag a better time at 'Ohana with only a week to go, so keep trying and trying. (and be patient).

They ram the tables so close together, i highly doubt you'll be able to squeeze in another person unless they want to sit on your lap. The layout of that place is terrible. Call WDW and ask again for an ADR for 5, if they dont have any available, book for 6. Ppl always seem to have trouble making an ADR for odd numbers (3, 5, 7,). Dont know why.

Yes there are some booths. We sat in one last April. There are also some tables that have chairs on one side and a booth seating on the other. That kinda makes you feel like you are sitting with the party next to you I don't care the food was so yummy. Good luck!

If the 6 person reservation works out, give them a call to update the reservation to 5. Since you need a credit card to hold the reservation you would be charged $10 for the sixth person when only 5 show up.

When are you going to Le Cellier? Yesterday I was able to make an ADR for 5 without any issues. We are going for lunch an our trip is in August though. Hope it works out.

Le Cellier very popular and as other posters have mentioned, the set-up is pretty tight. I would do as the PPs have mentioned, try to get an ADR for 5 or 6 and then adjust as necessary. People change reservations frequently, so something might open up.

If you just show up at the restaurant with five people for a 4 person ADR, there is the chance you'll be turned away because of fire codes (maximum capacity limitations) OR you could be treated as a walk-up, which may mean no availability or a long wait.
