Help with LAX logistics

When we fly into LAX some of our group will be coming in on South West and some Frontier. Can someone tell me if there is one luggage pickup area for all airlines. I'm trying to decide if its reasonable for us to meet up when we get our luggage and all take one shuttle to the hotel or if we should just plan to meet up at the hotel. Our planes do arrive within a half hour of each other.

Southwest is in Terminal 1 and Frontier is in Terminal 6 at LAX. Each has its own baggage carousel area. LAX is laid out in a horseshoe shape with Terminal 1 at the entrance and Terminal 8 at the exit.

Unless you are ataying at the Radisson, I would recommend taking the hotel shuttle and meeting at the hotel. The shuttle will pick up and drop off at each Terminal as it makes the loop around the airport, so it is possible you will meet on the shuttle!

If staying at the Radisson, it is short walk from Terminal 1, but then, I have even walked from the Sheraton to Terminal 4. -- Suzanne
