I am hoping someone here with technical know-how can help me! I am putting together a DVD of photos (slideshow) for my father's 60th birthday party this weekend. I purchased Roxio's MyDVD (version 8) and I had no trouble getting the pictures into a lsideshow. The problem is trying to get the audio in. I purchased the music I need from Itunes (lots of 50's do-wop) but when I try to insert it the MyDVD program says there are no files. I am guessing I need to convert the song files from Itunes into some other format, but have no idea how to do that. Any ideas?

Itunes uses its own format. What you need to do is burn the songs to MP3 or cda first (whichever you can put in your Roxio software. You may have to burn to a CD. I'm don't think it will let you convert it to your hard drive (but I could be wrong). Place the songs in a playlist, then right click and choose burn to disc. It goes really quickly. I burn songs all the time for listening in my car. :)

Edited to add: You can choose your file type format under preferences > Advanced > burning.
