My dh will be 50 this month and doesn't want a party. I was thinking of having his brother and family and my brother and family (and our 2 kids) go somewhere for the weekend. I was thinking of renting a home for 3 nights at the end of the month somewhere in NY/PA/NJ that has a fireplace/hot tub for the families. Checked last night and found a few things but it has to be pet friendly (we have a 5 lb. yorkie) Any one else have a suggestion? I think we have been to every restaurant here in NY. Thought even maybe to rent a big house on the ocean (even though its off season) so we could have a mini family reunion. My dh loves the woods(is going upstate to his brothers place this weekend) but I really can't think of anything!
