Ok so now that we know we are definatly going on the 8th October we had to change around our plans a little.

we are having to do Disney SSR 15 nights 1st with our 14day ultimate ticket, then we are stuck with what to do :rotfl:

Originally we was doing Universal 1st so International drive with maybe a 2 night stay at Hard rock to get front of line passes " we normally always get the GAC at Disney and Universal for our son" BUT we thought front of line passes might be easier for Universal plus Harry potter land with the early entrance.
Then finishing up at Disney for the 15 nights at SSR Im bit gutted we are doing it the other way around as id much rather end at Disney! and save the best accomadation for last!

Soooooo....

our thoughts now is to do MNSSHP on the 23rd October so we need to be around Disney area my thought was to spend 2 nights at AOA so we could do the party that way all we need to do is move from SSR to AOA then we are going to do Universal for 4 days at Universal and if we can sea world "Cant see that happening with the time we have now,I had it all planned out the other way around now its crumbling apart :lmao: as we had to take 1 night off our plans the price was better for 21 nights from the day we fly then the 22 we did have! At least Im still going though :woohoo:

Now what would you do?
Stay at AOA for the whole time from the 23rd till the 29th and go to Universal from AOA "How long would this take using the buses"??

Or

add and extra night at SSR to do MNSSHP then go straight to Universal area to do Universal, I know my boys would just LOVE AOA We tried to change the whole booking to there but we would lose the DDP and to add it on OOP was around £1900 more!!! :scared1:

Or
Do 14 nights SSR 2 nights AOA and then 5 nights Universal area HELP im driving myself insane with this planning! and only have a wk to sort it before the Op its actually a wk tomorrow :sad1: and Id like it all sorted so i can concentrate on recovery :thumbsup2

P.s got ALL the ADR's I wanted :banana::banana:

On the public buses? Over an hour.

Ok thats not so bad,
When we went for our wedding Our friends stayed at DTD area and only did the Olrando flex ticket they got the bus from outside the hotel's down their and said it was cheap and not so bad but they cant remember how long it was and that was 2008

Is it easy to do? I was thinking of going to the Ticket center then getting the bus from there?

How much would a taxi round trip be from AOA to Universal?

I know my mum wants to shop on I-drive do walmart etc and the Outlets as do I Im wondering if we should just go straight to I-drive to do Universal from the 23rd-29th and try and fit MNSSHP in another night during our 15 nights at Disney theres a Party the day we arrive but I think the boys will be too tired as will we!

Any decent hotels nr Universal that are NICE but NOT really expensive that way we could still stay at what ever Universal hotel comes up cheapest for a night to get early entry :thumbsup2

If you're using the public buses, you catch the 50 at DTD or the TTC, get off at Sea World, catch the 8 from there to Wet n Wild and then it's a 10 minute walk (probably longer with kids - it's about a mile) to the Universal Parking lot. If you ask for a transfer when you board the first bus, it's only $2. If you timed it perfectly, you could probably do it in an hour or so but realistically I'd be leaving 90 minutes.

Personally I'd just stay on I-Drive. Loads of hotels and they're all pretty good value (find one you like then use tripadvisor). Then you just catch the 8 or 42 up to Wet n Wild and then walk to Universal from there. Depending on where you are on I-Drive, your journey to Universal could be anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour.

I've done the early entry and would also say its not worth the money. The Universal hotels are nice but not nice enough to warrant what they want to charge for them. As you're going out of peak season, I can't imagine you'd need the early entry or fast pass. We did fine at Easter without an express pass - Harry Potter is mobbed but it's also mobbed moments after the Early Entry as its the only thing open. We waited the same amount of time for HP rides on both the early entry says and the other time we rode them.
