ok we are a fam of 6. we want to do both universal and disney can you help me find a desent hotel for us. either we get to rooms or a suiet but I do not want to pay more than 100 a night pleas help.

have you though about a timeshare for $100 a night you get a really nice one - but only if you are staying 7 nights.

We stayed at Residence Inn Seaworld in July 2004. We had a 1 bedroom suite for about $114 a nite I think, got that from the 800 number, I think!

It was 2 queen beds and sofabed in living room, sofabed would be good for 2 small kids. It had full frig, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher and all the plates and cups and stuff. The best thing is the full American breakfast.

Scrambled eggs every day(a little bland)sausage pattys one day and ham slices the next, several cereals, muffins, waffles, fruit, something for everyone. To me that's worth about $10 per person, and it's free. I would go down and get a platefull and take it back to the room, that way my DD stayed in bed a little longer!

Have a great time!

We're at the Holiday Inn at the Universal entrance. For July, we got an internet prepay rate of $115 per night. It's a suite with 2 beds, and a seperate room with a sofa bed sleeping six total. It has a kitchenette with fridge and microwave as well. Can't speak to the quality yet, but even if we buy the Express Plus for 3 of us, it's still cheaper than the Universal hotels with more room.

Cheers.

have you looked into the onsite stay 4 play free package?
perhaps by the time you factor in the price of separate
ticketing, having to buy express upgrades, transportation, etc.
It might wind up being at worse case, the same $

Check out all the threads on Cypress Pointe, You can get a 2 or even 3 bedroom condo for under 100.00 a night. Place was very nice and would have lots of room for your gang. We did both Disney and Universal from there, it was an easy drive to both. The resort is closer to Disney though but only 10 min away from Univ.

We liked Sierra Suites on International Drive. Had a two room suite for under $100.00.
