Trying to get a rental house or suite close to Disneyland. I have 2 kids and there are 6 adults going. Any suggestions? We are splitting 3 ways so I need something economical yet nice.

Thanks.

What are your dates, and how is your family grouped? i.e. 2 adults/2 kids in a room, 4 adults in another room, or in 2 more rooms?

You could do a family suite at Desert Inn or BWPPI. You could do connecting rooms at HoJo if you can go during the Entertainment rate, for $59 a night each room.

I'd think about trying to stay in walking distance if you can, so if your group needs to split up and go back for a midday rest, it's not a scramble to drive or get on ART or whatever. Much easier to stay close by.

Somebody recently posted about renting a house nearby and had good luck with it. I'd be pretty careful about that, I've heard some bad experiences with house renting, also.

The Residence Inn Garden Grove would be a good choice! We had a two bedroom / 2 bath suite there that slept 8 (although we only had 6). It had one bedroom with two queen beds in it and a bathroom. It had the living room with a couch that turned into a bed and another bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom. It had a kitchen as well, which was nice. We kept water, snacks, etc... in the room. It also includes breakfast, which is a bonus!

I have stayed at Residence Inns before but not the one at DLR. But I was going to recommend this as well.

Here are some helpful links:

desert inn if you call early you can get good deal like 100 a night
or hojos ent rate 74 a night for park view rooms

We've had great experiences at the Residence Inn, I'd suggest looking there first.
