For the past year I have been "trying" to finish my 2008 Disney trip and I am SOOOO close!!! :cool1: It was my daughters and husbands first trip.....I have two more layout spreads to go along with the front page and the last page. Would anyone mind posting or sharing ideas for those two pages (the front and last).....I have been wanting to do those for a while and my creative juices just won't go there!!!! I am needing some help and inspiration!!! Thanks in advance for any help or ideas you wouldn't mind sharing!!!

thank you!
Angie

I don't have them scanned to show, but my first page tends to be our "travel" page....pics of the kids in the car (we usually drive) watching dvd, sleeping, etc. One page I did "Destination Disney" for a title, and had two pics of the boys in the airport (the only time we've flown down) and just journaled about our trip. The last page varies, depends on what we did last or what is leftover. The trip I'm working on now, I'm thinking about using a few leftover pics and just journaling some final thoughts. IF I ever get the book done!

Here are the 1st and last pages from 2 of our trips. I usually do a title page as my first page and on this trip I made a pocket to put the maps and tickets and things in from the trip I hadn't scrapped.

The first page of my album is "Twas the night before Disney". I took a photo of my son sleeping in his Mickey pjs and put the twas the night before Disney parody poem on it.

My last page is a photo of our family in our ear hats looking out over the water before the start of illuminations. The photo was taken of our backs and has the "now its time to say goodbye..." verse on it.

Okay.... here are two of my title pages. I can't take credit for the ideas. I think I got the ideas for both pages over at www.twopeasinabucket.com. Wish I could give credit to the specific scrapper.

This is from our 2002 trip. Used lots of the index prints that came for free with my photo orders. I was really pleased with the way it came out.

OOOPS.... apparently the other page isn't where I thought it was. I'll have to look around for it and post it later.

Anyway, FWIW, I always do my title page LAST. Not sure why, it just seems to always workout that way. ..............P

Found it. Apparently it never made it to my Shutterfly account. Anyhow, these are the two title pages (one for each child's book) from our 2004 trip. One is kind of the "negative" of the other. I used a white pen to journal the dates on the black (if you look closely you can see it). I just used a bunch of extra photos I had and worked out a way that showed the most "face" in each one. I was super pleased with the results.

I was scrolling down and thought the layout was still part of angie's post, but said, I recognize the backs of the Blink Princes anywhere. :goodvibes

Great layouts here.:thumbsup2

I took a new pic this last trip of the 4 of them in the same place, Bomas.

DS8 was an itty bitty thing there, only 2 years old. how time flies!
