I want to purchase something over the internet and it has a symbol that looks like an f with a stand on the bottom of it, instead of a $. Is that euro?

It says its f469...how much would that be in $$

If anyone can help thanks a lot, I feel so stupid!

That's not a euro. A euro looks like 'C" with two lines through the middle. This is a euro €

What you are looking at is an English Pound. £

Hiya,

If its pounds then with todays exchange rate: 469 British Pounds is equal to 844 dollars! Thats a lot.

I would clarify with the seller/company exactly what currency they are charging in.

Best Wishes,
Gaspodé

£ = English pound.£469 = approx $844 (I used an on line currency converter)

€ = Euro.
€469 = approx $575

Yes it's the English Pound symbol! Thanks

I figured it was a lot more than $469, I'll have to find our more about it for $844 and find out what the shipping charges are too!

Thanks for the quick response!!
