Good morning,

I have been planning this trip for over a year. This will be my family very first Disney Trip. We will be there June1-June8 staying at B Resort Hotel and Spa at Disney Springs. We can book fastpass next Tuesday morning and I am still completely lost. I have read the Fastpass board and I understand the concept I just don't know if what I am thinking is correct. I will take any advice on what and how to do my Fastpass. The issue I am having is, do I book the fastpass by date or by how hard it is to get them. EX We have AK schedule for two days 60+3, 60+7 do I try to book FOP first even though MK is 60+1. I know that might be confusing. I am confusing myself this morning. I have purchased some maps because I have no clue where to go, or how another attraction is. My kids and I went through some Youtube videos so we could see the rides and what they wanted to do. Below is our plans with ADR and if anyone please can help me with Fastpass. I don't even mind talking to you privately any advice will help.

MK-Ohana 3:30pm Kids want to basically do all the headliner
AK-Tusker House ROL 10:15 Kids want to do all rides except Primeval Whirl
EP-Everything except Journey into the imagination
MK-Ohana 10:25am whatever is not done on the first day
HS-Sci Fi 11:25 everything but Indiana jones
AK-whatever is not done on the first AK day.

I don't know how to prioritize the Fastpass or how to determine anything. I am truly lost.
Any advice will be great.

TIA!!!

Yes, start with the toughest to get FPs (FOP and Slinky Dog, then move on to 7DMT).

My strategy with 2 MK days is to basically split the park in half and do Frontierland/Adventureland/Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan one day and Fantasyland/Tomorrowland whatever else the other day. Then you do less walking and your pre-booked FPs can be Splash / Big thunder Mtn. and Peter Pan one day and 7DMT, Space Mtn. and Buzz or Princess Hall the other. Read up about "Refreshing" and getting extra FPs one at a time after your daily 3.

Definitely start with FOP, SDD and 7DMT. Then work day by day to fill in all the rest of your FP+. Try to get FOP on both AK days. And remember, just because you didn't get something in the perfect time you wanted, there is so much FP+ movement on the day before/day of at the park. FP+ day is such a fun day!

You can download the disney app on your phone and that will give you a good picture of where things are. Id say first book Slinky Dog for your HS day, then book FOP for your second Animal Kindgom Day, then book seven dwarves mine train for your second MK day. Do not book all your fastpasses one day then move onto the next until you have booked those first few fp I mentioned. I would definitely read through the first couple posts of the fp thread to understand how the tiers. You definitely want to book Na'vi River for your first AK day. In HS you should FP Tower of Terror and Rock n Roller coaster as your other two. I would FP splash mountain and big thunder on the same day, then pick something else from that area like jungle cruise as your third. On your other MK day do 7 dwarves, peter pan and space mountain. Epcot, my personal preference is to fastpass test track as my tier one ride and rope drop Frozen Ever After. You could switch that and fp Frozen and do single rider for test track, but don't choose soarin' over the other two for your tier 1 fp, it has the least waits of the 3.

I would book hardest to get first even if that means skipping around on days.
So if you're looking for FOP, SDD, FEA, and 7DMT then look for those first even though they would be on different days of your trip.
After you have secured them then go back in and book the other 2 FP's for each day.

I don’t know if it will help but I made a list for when my fast pass day opens. I listed the day and date then the park and my top choices for fast passes in those parks. That way I won’t have to figure out what days I am going to each park. I also listed the approximate time ranges for the rides. I am going to try for my animal kingdom days for FOP first even though they are 60 plus 2 and 60 plus 4. Then I’m trying for Mine Train. I got tickets for us for early morning magic at Toy Story Land so I don’t have to try to get Slinky dog
