Help with express passes

Been to universal and IOA many times but never bought Express passes. This is something we are considering for this years trip. We are visiting in the height of British summer season and as many of you know the waiting times can be huge! My questions are:
1. Are these passes only avalible on certain days? How do we find these dates?
2. How much do thesae passes cost?
3. I have already bought my passes can the express pass be added ontop of my current passes?
4. Will i have to buy express passes for both parks or will one pass be enough as long as i state what rides i want covered within my pass?
5. How many rides can you buy passes for? Are the big attractions covered within this express pass i.e spiderman, simpsons, Hulk, etc etc

Any help will be great...

Any help will be great...

1. The Express Plus passes are available 365 days.

2. Price depends on the anticipated crowd level...the busier the more expensive. Check the website for pricing: http://www.universalorlando.com/tic_express.html

3. Yes...you can purchase the EP's at most stores at either park.

4. You will have to decide on a one-park or two-park pass.

5. EP's are good for each participating attraction ONCE. The only attraction that does NOT have Express access is Pteranodon Flyers at IOA.

Please note that also all attractions are now equipped with an Express scanner. They will deny you access to the Express line if your pass has already been used on that attraction for that day.

Amen to that! I was soooo pleased to see the scanning going on this past weekend. No second checker in the Mummy line tho' so the line jumping there was out of control. Longest Express wait I've ever had there. They were double checking all the other rides so no other problems.
