DW and I will be there in a month. we are looking at some of these tour / events and would appreciate any input.

Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour $79
it says a 5 hour tour... do they drag this out? is it informative enough to keep our interest for 5 hours. is there a lot of walking/standing. how far in advance do we need to make reservations?

Behind the Seeds $20
do we need reservations or can we just walk onto this tour?

Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage $59
Do they have restrooms on the boat? if not this would be a deal breaker..
otherwise this looks good....

BoardWalk Ballyhoo Guided Tour FREE
WE are staying at BWV, thought this might be good.

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue $60
booked this, done it before and loved it...

Characters in Flight...Operated by Aerophile $18
in DTD, is this a walk on or are reservations required?

Any other tours or events you would recommend?
it will be just DW and myself.. haha, kids are all grown...
so nice with just the two of us..

I can only speak to the KTTK tour because I recently booked it after reading up on it.

It does seem to last most of the 5 hours. The time and price includes lunch at Columbia Harbor House. It also includes special tour rides/visits to 2-3 attractions that will be different than your usual visit. For example, in Haunted Mansion, you will have headsets during the attraction and the tour guide will point out things for you and perhaps give some insider info. The jungle cruise is another possible tour stop.

Yes, you need reservations. You pay when you book. I booked for four about 6 weeks in advance.

There is a discount if you have a Disney Visa and possibly other discounts. I think it's 20-25 percent.

All the reviews I've read about it have been very positive except for disappointment in the utilidors portion if the tour.

I'm sure you will need reservations for any tour in the park. Good luck.

I found KTTK to be well worth the money and time. Our guide was very good and had lots of info to share. There is ALOT of walking/standing, but our guide was very good about allowing breaks. One of the best parts for me was early entrance to the MK. You can wander as far as the Hub and get some great photos w/o crowds everywhere.
I think the utilidor portion can depend on your guide and the timing. I was very pleased with the amount of time we spent down there. Our guide pointed out so many things. We passed the Dapper Dans at one point, and they sang "I Love A Parade" to us as we walked by, which they didn't have to do since they were off stage.
