Hey all, just thought I'd ask those who know-- Next Saturday I'm taking my mom to Epcot for the day before we have to fly back home-- My question is, what is the best place to take her to eat? She' generally not a picky eater, but I would like to take her somewhere that is unique. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks so much! :earsgirl:

Depends on what she likes..for unique San Angel Inn in Mexico..we love the food at lunch time, and the ride passes through, mariachi band plays, it is very nice.

We love Chefs de France or Alfredo's also. Just wonderful food.

The Biergarten in Germany..the buffet is wonderful and the entertainment comes with the meal..it is a great bargain.

marrakesh in morocco is very good. also, the japanese restaurant, teppanyki, is fun and good. dont forget to save room for dessert from boulangerie patisserie in france! yum!! :earboy2:

If your Mom likes Hollywood history, take her to the Italian pavilion to order the original fettucine Alfredo. It's made with the same imported cheese and cream as in Rome (very rich!), according to the same recipe that inspired Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford to give Alfredo a solid gold fork and spoon. The lobby is filled with photos of the old man cooking this for Hollywood stars of the 30s and 40s.

Another vote for the Biergarten here. It's my favorite in EPCOT. Webray is right though, it depends on her tastes.

One place I'm dying to try, and intend to try my next trip, is the Coral Reef restaurant.

we're planning on Garden Grill arrival dinner
Mexico for lunch, Japan for dinner
Rose & Crown for lunch, LeCellier (sp?) for lunch
America for counter

1st time staying at a Boardwalk hotel and planning on lots of meals at EpCot

I just love the beirgarten. We eat there every trip. There is a show every fourty mins.

We ate lunch at the Biergarten in Germany, and that place rocked! It's an all you can eat buffet with a show(if you plan your timing right!). We LOVED it, and will definately eat there again!

Marakesh would be my suggestion! The food is great and it is such a unique experience.
