Help with Easter Week planning?

Anyone care to help me with planning for our trip the week before Easter. I know it will be super crowded, so I need some advice.

We're planning to do MK mornings (at opening) the first two mornings: Sunday and Monday. We're planning on also one morning each at Studios and AK and one evening at Epcot. The other time we can do whatever comes up. Considering the MK especially, Should we pick one area to concentrate on each day in order to hit the biggies? Or try to do as many possible all over the park each morning? I think our main objectives are:
Splash Mtn
Space Mtn
Race Cars
Buzz Lightyear
Tea Cups
Barnstormer
Thunder Mtn
Jungle Cruise
Pirates
Winnie Pooh

The 10 and 6 yr old are dare devils, 4 and 7 yr old are not. Should we plan on splitting up the kids by age (each with a parent) for the first couple hours to assure we get things done or stay together and not race around or what?
This will be our first year that each child (4 boys!) will really remember WDW and have specific things they want to do.

I suggest you get a copy of the Unofficial Guide to WDW. It has suggestions and sample touring plans for MK and all the WDW parks. Alternatively, you can go to the website: www.touringplans.com for all sorts of touring plans depending on what your circumstances are.

We always go with a lot of people (extended family). I would say split up and use walkie talkies or cell phones. It makes everyone much happier, espeically in crowds for those particular rides. Make sure you have a way to contact each other. Because things happen and people get held up so it's almost impossible to say that you'll meet at a certain spot at a certain time.
I believe this is what made our trips with larger groups succesful and happy. Who wants to wait in hour long lines for a ride you have no interest in. Don't split up the whole day just for the biggie rides that kids have on their "must ride" list. Try as many fast passes as you can do.

We usually split up in the am. We have a 5 and 12 year old so they have different interests. I start in Fantasyland and DH and DS start at Space Mountain. We use cell phones and meet up at the race cars which we all enjoy together. Then we head toward Adventureland together. Sometimes splitting up again for Big Thunder and the Magic carpets. If you have a cell or radios it is the best way for all the kids to do their "thing" without long waits. We save the things we all like until we're together. :teeth:

Sounds like splitting up is the way to go. I'm thinking of perhaps having 2 groups for the first 1-2 hours the park is opening and then meeting up and doing stuff together and at that point taking time to wander, etc. Good idea with the cell phones.

?? Does Toon Town still open at 10 even at Spring Break season? The Barnstormer is a big Favorite. Perhaps we'll meet back there at 10:00.

However, if Jungle Cruise and Barnstormer both open at 10:00, which one should we be waiting in line at? Probably the Jungle Cruise since the lines are so long? Last trip, we never even made it onto the J.C--even with a fastpass. It was for hours later and we had left the park by then.
