You could have simply emailed every Seller you bought pins from & asked them if they accidently sent you someone else's order by mistake. If so describe the items & amounts.
I recieved several orders around the same time, so it would of taken a long time to e-mail all of them, which for some, would just frustrate.

Her first email was apologetic.
No, it really wasn't. The first e-mail wasn't rude either. But it wasn't apologetic. It stated, not asked, that I had the pins, (so she had to have known for sure I had them,) and said to either send them back, minus one, or pay her the selling price.

She made you a good offer. YOU wrote back asking for something else that she did not offer. While she may have enough stock to have covered the other auction, you're assuming she has extra backs to sell you. She may not. She made you TWO offers: to buy the pins or to keep one in lieu of your trouble.
I didn't see it as a fair offer at first. First of all, I checked her E-Bay store, and she has many of the same pin back-locks available, but out of the five pins, only three are available, so it's not about her stock.
What if I wanted to be paid for shipping instead of keeping a pin? That wasn't an option she offered me, though I felt it should of been.

You could have simply said you never received any extra pins. She'd be the one out of the money for them.
So asking for the backs instead of a pin is horrible, and gives me a bad attitude, but lying and cheating her is okay? That makes no sense what-so-ever.

Giving her a
permanent Negative feedback on her attitude when the original transaction went well?!?

That's bad form. I certainly wouldn't buy/sell with you. Ironic, I don't care for
your attitude in this matter. Your parameters are way too narrow. Not everyone is going to respond how you'd like. I'd be afraid of typing a comma in the wrong place & getting negged.
Okay, first off, I have never left anyone negative feedback. I was just wondering what I should do, and asked for opinions on here, and now I'm getting flamed for asking a simple question?

Oh, and if you had planned on sending the items back, you could have simply sent the items back C.O.D. and let her deal with the charges. Or you could have sent her an email asking how did she want the items sent back: priority or first class, included the charges, and asking how she was going to pay for the shipping. This way she'd know you are expecting her to pay for them as you are giving her the choice of delivery options.
Like I said, she didn't give me that as an option, so that's why I
asked for the backs instead. I didn't think it made that much difference, and now I'm just going to buy them anyway, so she still makes a sale.
