8th grade party is in May for us. It's basically after graduation, it's about 5 hours long in our school. Most of the people are starting to look at dresses and I found some online I like..just wanted you guys' opinions! Thanks!

well uh...theres so many so i could only narrow it down to half:blush: lol
i like
1,4,5,6,9
those were my faves :teeth:
tho i really did like #6 ;)

I like 3 and 4 best...

At my 8th grade graduation we were all required to wear things more formal then that though... So you might want to double check with what the rules are...But i honestly think that 3 is so different and bright and i just really liked 4...Try to get something that other girls won't have...We had five girls in the same dress and our class only had about 50 girls in it.

I really like 2 & 6.
I think those colors would look best on you.

Really? 'Cause I was thinking they were too formal. We didn't have a graduation, but they wanted us less formal at the dance. Definitely check with them. Also, is modesty an issue? While they're all beautiful, some look more like lingerie than dresses. I mean, it's an eighth grade dance. They might want you in something that at least covers your shoulders (or at least have straps that aren't spaghetti straps), and there might be a length requirement.
At the dance I went to, girls were being asked to put sweatshirts over their dresses if the administration didn't like them. (And by didn't like them, I mean, thought they were 'inappropriate', not 'that is one ugly dress!')

I normally don't like purple dresses but I love #1! oh and #11 is cool too!

I like #1, #6, and #9. But what color are your eyes and skin tone? And at my old school we had really specific rules about the dresses you you might want to check with those first before picking a dress.

Some of them seem a little hoochie mama to me. (4 and 7 look like nighties, while 9 looks like a beach cover up) I'd go with number 1, it's classy and feminine.

We didn't have 8th grade graduation but we did have an 8th grade dance. We weren't supposed to wear floor length dresses. Just like cocktail length.

thanks guys.
and yah, my school's the same with laura's. we just wear slacks and a blouse for graduation and cocktail dresses for the dance. and i've seen the last four years 8th grade party pictures and those are the dresses they wear and none of the people i know have gotten in trouble.
i was thinking for number 1 as my favorite. a lot of people think i look good in maroon, purple, and dark green. so i'll probably go with the purple! :)

i love number two.
no matter what dress you wear you will look pretty.
:)
