I am looking for a cute dogs name for a tiny male yorkie. We would like the name to begin with an A.

We once had a dog we let our niece name.... the name was Askim.
Then, when people would say, "what's your dog's name?" we'd say "Askim" and they say, "ok, hey doggy, what's your name?" It was kinda funny. This was a mixed (mutt) we got from the humane society. He was a great dog!

Hmmm .... Yorkies are originally from Northern England, so I would select and English name. I also like a BIG name for a LITTLE dog. My favorites are in red (yes, I know Alfie is not a big name, but it's a cute one for a dog).

Someone once told me not to pick a name for a dog over 2 syllables gets to confusing to them when saying it with a command.

Arthur. The Disney related one I can think of that I like is Andy (Toy Story). Aladdin is another one(but I'm not sure about that as a dog name)- you could call him Al.
