We just got a Disney Visa and will be credited $175 reward dollars on 3-22. We leave for WDW on 3-26. Will I be able to access those rewards somehow?

I know you can't order the rewards card until you have $25 in rewards and then it takes a couple weeks to get it. I thought I read that someone said you can get the card at WDW?!

I'd really like to use that $175 to help buy our tickets when we get there.

You can get a rewards card at Chase customers service in DTD, then call Chase and have them transfer the reward dollars to your card.

You can get the card at any of the Guest Relations at any of the four theme parks or DTD. We picked ours up at AK in August and then were able to transfer the rewards over the phone. It was super easy to do!

Woo-hoo!!! Thank you so much for the info. I'm really excited to be saving on my park tickets! :)

Don't know if this is the place to put this, but I need to vent. We've had the Disney Visa Rewards card and it use it occasionally throughout the year, paying it off each billing cycle. In January, we received an incentive for triple reward points through March after spending $1,000. Well, I remodeled my kitchen and booked another Disney trip (airlines, meal reservation, hotel deposit, etc.). I paid off the card in February. Have yet to receive the triple points billing cycle ended March 14. Most of the purchases were made in the February billing cycle. Just got off the phone with them. "Unfortunately, your triple rewards won't be released until your next billing cycle". April 14th. We leave for Disney on March 27th. Chase said there is nothing they can do. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER

Can you call chase and change your billing date. I know chase lets you pick your due date so cant you change it to closer so it closes before your trip?

The fine print specifically stated that the points would appear in your account 6-8 weeks after the charges were incurred. I'm sorry that it won't be in time for your vacation. Look at it as the seed money for your next trip.

so i just received an offer in t he mail today - if i sign up today & use the card first day i get it, there is probably no way i will have the points credited before our trip may 2nd-10th, huh?
i was really hoping for an extra $200 in spending money for disney

Probably not. Read the fine print as to how long it takes for the bonus dollars to appear in your account. Most of the time it is 6-8 weeks but each offer is different. I certainly would not depend on having those bonus dollars in time for your trip this coming May.

I signed up early last week and received my new card in the mail yesterday. Activated it right away and I will use it this week. But my trip isn't until Aug. Just trying to show you how fast the card was mailed to me.

I went to Animal Kingdom Guest Relations and told them I wanted a rewards card. I believe they needed the Visa and picture ID, then gave me a card. They said I could use the phone there (a big Mickey phone) to call Chase and transfer points to my card.

I called Chase. They asked me my mother's maiden name, for security purposes. I told them. They told me I was wrong. I said I wasn't wrong. They said maybe they had my maiden name on file instead of my mother's. I said I'm not married.

They proceeded to ask my name, address, date of birth and last 4 digits of my Social Security Number.

I said - you'd better hope the people in this room are honest, because you just gave them enough info to steal my identity.

They finally transferred the points to my card, and told me what they had for my mother's maiden name.

It was clearly not a maiden name. It was something like "table."

They said, "maybe it was a password and we put it as the maiden name by mistake."

Maybe.

So my advice is -- when you call to transfer the points, make the call in private.

I agree completely I took the card and the number and found a "quiet" place to make the call.

We transferred points spur of the moment while in DTD and then swung by guest relations to find any available restaurants for the evening. Very easy, and it "felt" like a free dinner.
