Help with Disney Transportation

I know I have come to the right place.

I need help with the best route for POP to Yacht Club for the Pirate cruise starting at 9 am. I am pretty sure I want to go to DHS and then to YC. My questions are - Is the bus running that early to DHS and what time does the boat start? And how long will it take? I figure an hour.

From POP we took a cab to the beach/ yacht club for the early cruise. It was $8 and well worth it!

Otherwise you would be correct in going to HS and then to beach club for the cruise. (Beach club is a 10 min cab ride from Pop or less depending on the lights.)

The buses start running about 6:30 am. Not sure when the boat starts running as we always walk through that area.

Take the cab.
If you take the bus to DHS, it will take you up to 30 mins...wait and travel time. Then, it will be either a 20 min boat ride, after a possible 15 min wait for the boat to arrive, or a 25 min walk from DHS to YC.

The boats start around 8, so you could do it, but it's probably worth the cab ride if it's only 8 bucks.
