Help with Disney Dollars

Is there a way to know what restaurants do or do not take Disney Dollars?

I have been reading that you can use them for anything on the property: food, gift shops, etc.

Any information would be appreciated

The one place you may encounter the most difficulties using disney dollars is at DTD because many of the shops/restaurants there are not owned by Disney. For example, you could not pay for your meal at Planet Hollywood with Disney Dollars. Also, you may not be able to use your disney dollars at Rainforest Cafe in Animal Kingdom or at some of the stores/restauratns in World Showcase for the smae reason as above, but I am less sure about these ones so maybe someone else can clarify those things for you. Remember that if you have disney dollars that you don't/can't spend you can exchange them for regular money at any time, the exchange rate both ways is 1 to 1 so no risk! So many places will take disney dollars that it should be no problem!

I realize this is probably a stupid question, but are Disney Dollars good forever? I figure they are, but don't want to assume that and find out I'm wrong when it's too late.

Yep...as long as they are still legable.
