Sorry guys, I have posted too many questions today - I promise this is the last one
It's a long one though.....
I am trying to work out which dining reservations I need to make for my trip to DLP in 3 weeks, as I like to have things like that booked in advance.
Can I trouble the experienced DLP-ers amongst you (I know Orlando backwards but haven't been to Paris since it was only one park and almost everything seems to have changed) to have a quick look at my rough plan (below) and help me make a couple of decisions?
thank you!
Day one
We (myself and 5-going-on-6 year old son) land at Paris CDG at around 5pm on the Sunday evening - and expect to arrive at our hotel - the Sequoia Lodge - by 7pm (we're getting the high speed train from terminal 2)
I don't want us to have a very late night on the first night, as the following day will be a long one, and I don't want my son to start off the day exhausted. But we will need to eat.
Ideally I'd like to dump the cases at the hotel and head straight into Disney Village for dinner at Cafe Mickey around 7:30pm, and then take a stroll back to the hotel, have a little look around, and have my son all tucked up by 9pm.
So - at this point - a question or two. Are those timings even feasible? I think it looks a bit tight. Is Cafe Mickey the best choice for dinner? Should we just eat in the hotel instead and maybe have a swim and a wander about the grounds and do CM another day?
Opinions happily received
Day two
We want to take full advantage of the Extra Magic Hours on this day - but we will want some sort of breakfast - so I'm not sure whether to try for a very early brekkie in the hotel and then hot foot down to the park to get there for 8am - or swap for the Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast, and have that around 9:30 or so once we have got a couple of rides under our belt.
If we do the former, then I would probably book a character lunch at the Lucky Nugget on this day also. If the latter, then I would hope we could eat (or stow away!) enough at breakfast to avoid going to lunch altogether.
Do queues drop dramatically in the late afternoon / evening? I was wondering if it might be worth going back to the hotel around 2ish, having maybe a swim or a rest, and then getting back to the park for the 5pm-9pm shift.
If we had had the buffet lunch at the Lucky Nugget then I would dispense with a formal evening meal - just grab something fast foody.
If not then we would want an evening meal in the Lucky Nugget instead.
I'd definitely like to go there for one or the other of the meals, as my son adores character dining.
Day three is easier
Brekkie in the hotel around 8am then aim to be at Disney Studios gate by 9:15, so that we can hot foot it to crush's coaster as soon as the rope drops
I think we'll have a light lunch this day and then an evening meal at either Cafe Mickey (if we didn't get there on day one) or the Rainforest cafe in the Village
Day four
This is going to be a long day - we don't fly out of CDG till gone 9pm and it will be very late by the time we get home - so I don't want too early a start. So I think we'll go for a late-as-possible hotel breakfast (or possibly cafe Mickey again?) and then a relaxed mopping up of any rides we didn't already catch, or want to ride again, during the day. We won't bother with lunch as I'm booking the birthday tea at the Plaza for my son on this day.
So - what do you think?
Please help me make up my mind what to do about dinner on day one, and breakfast on day two specifically. And whether it will be worth doing brekkie in cafe Mickey on our last day when we will have already been there for dinner previously. As then I can get on with it and book our reservations
