Hi
Going to Disney in feb 2012, noticed that some restaurants are missing form the table service. Does any one know why?? Also does anyone know what snacks are available for 2012 from the different eating places. Would like to plan to get most out of the dining plan.

Only the Disney owned/operated restaurants are currently in the brochure. Until the other restaurants sign (or decline) the contracts for the 2012 DDP, the list will not be final. I believe they have until the end of the year (or just before it) to sign (and most do seem to wait).

In the history of DDP, only Fulton's has ever dropped out of the program, and that was after the first year. I would expect every restaurant on the 2011 list to show up on the 2012.

Hi
Going to Disney in feb 2012, noticed that some resurants are missing form the table service. Does any one know why?? The restaurants currently listed for 2012 are only those that are operated by Disney itself. The ones that are missing are third party venues which have until the end of the year to finalize their contracts with Disney. Use the list of participating restaurants for this year because allof them will probably be back. In all these years only one restaurant still operating at DW has dropped out of the plan.

Also does anyone know what snacks are available for 2012 from the different eating places. Would like to plan to get most out of the dining plan. Here's a list of snacks that people have reported getting for a snack credit. It is not official so some other items may also qualify and some of the things on this list may not be allowed anymore. It is best to ask if you don't see the purple DDP logo next to an item.

My husband are also going to be there in February 2012 (11th-18th). I have gone ahead and made my TS reservations based on the 2011 DDP restaurants, and will make adjustments if needed in January. It's my understanding that this happens every year for non-Disney owned restaurants because their contracts are not up until the end of each year. Most likely we will be okay with our reservations!

Snack-wise for 2012, most everything should still count as a snack credit that currently is. The only thing that is not certain is the ice cream cookie sandwich from Main St. Bakery in MK. Apparently that is no longer a snack item on the DDP. It's my first trip to Disney in Feb so I can only research, I don't have any first hand experience. :)

:worship:Hi
My husband booked our restaurants for the TS today. He said that they were very busy and some places were booked already! We wanted to go to Le cellier but they said it was fully booked and Cinderellas royal table as well! I can't believe that it gets so booked up so far in advance! But we did manage to get the rest our our requests. Hope you have good luck booking. Still looking forward to a tremendous holiday though. Feb can't come soon enough for us.

I'm not sure what dates in February you are going to be there, but I checked Le Cellier for lunch times during my stay (11-18), and they do have a few openings, but definitely not many! I'm not planning on going there even though I've heard it's amazing...we would prefer to do dinner TS meals and really think Coral Reef would be a great experience.

If your heart is set on doing a Le Cellier lunch, keep checking online for openings -- inevitably some will cancel!

the coral reef is fab. We went there for my husbands birthday. The kids also loved it because you can see the fish. Its a lovely atmosphere and lovely food. My ten yr old loved the non-alchololic cocktails. Will keep trying the cancellations for Le cellier think I would love the steaks. :yay:
