help with criminal record

I know some of you have had experience with this for the visa issue, I hopw you can help. I have a client wanting to go to WDW and take a very ill (terminal) child. He says he was once arrested and although he was questioned with a solicitor present he was then let go, he thinks this constitutes a warning/caution rather than a record, does anyone know if theres a way to check on your own criminal record before applying for a visa?

If he goes into his local Police Station with id and a cheque I am sure for about £15 he can get a Police National Computer check done. Although it does take a while, a few weeks, for the results to be sent to him.

dont think this will be a problem as your client was not charged and as you say no reccord recorded.Should just do the waver no problem

DH was cautioned for ABH 20 years ago
By the time we became aware of the 'proper procedures' we'd already travelled on the visa waiver several times

He applied to the courts and, absolutely nothing was found.
We've continued to travel on the visa waiver scheme ever since but, when DH, recently did some school work, his caution came up on the police search

He now has one of the new passports but I'm not certain what information, if any, it holds?
It's pretty much immaterial, as far as the US goes, anyway as he wouldn't get health insurance to travel there at the moment as, he too, is classed as being terminally ill

Passing anything onto her client to that effect would not be very sensible being a travel agent. Wisely Carol is just putting him in touch with the right contacts for the documents and the decision is solely down to the customer.
