Help with Cooked Foods at Kimonos

I'm not a big sushi / raw fish eater. Do they have a decent hot, cooked foods menu? I took a look at their menu on allears and wdwinfo, and the selection looks quite limited. Is there more than what is listed? Thanks in advance!

We were there on Monday evening and it was a really delicious meal, highly recommended...but you are correct there aren't many cooked things. The menu on Kimono's website is exactly what you get at the restaurant:

The seared Grouper was so good, and it is cooked lightly in an amazing sauce, don't know if that is cooked enough for you?

There is not another menu (except for the cocktail menu). It's your basic sushi bar.

But we've gone with folks who won't eat raw fish, and they found plenty of things to eat that they liked.

The tempura veggies are amazing. Aspargus rolls (no fish at all) fantastic. Beef and chicken apps are very good.

I'd use the menu on swandolphin.com -- it's most up to date.

They have tempura, that will be cooked.

If you want to be certain order shrimp or crab, I do not think, those are ever served raw.

At the bottom of the linked menu there is an entire "cooked sushi" section. But as for hot cooked foods you may need to stick with the tempura.

Thank you for all your responses and your recommendations! My family loves sushi, so I'm just going along for the ride. I will most likely order the seared grouper and the tempura. Would love to have the shrimp and crab but I'm allergic to shellfish (though not a fatal kind of allergy, just one where my eyes puff up).

Ask for veggie tempura then - tempura platters often contain shrimp.
