Help with codes for a newbie

We a trip planned and paid for through AAA for March at the All Star Movies. We are considering upgrading our tickets to APs.

We would love to back in July and December. We were thinking about doing the Value Resorts but I would love to be able to stay at the GF or the Poly. I need some help figuring out the cheapest way to go!

We are not Disney Visa card holders and are not going to get it. We are CC free.

If you're getting APs, the cheapest way to go is usually room-only (not package, because package includes park tickets, but you will already have those). Often some very sweet deals come out to AP holders...you just have to be flexible about your dates and resort/room category, and willing to wait until last minute to book.


I'm not too sure what your specific question is, but there's a very good explanation of codes and rates somewhere on this board, I think it's called "everything you need to know about codes."

Good luck. You are a lucky duck if you get to go to Disney 3 times in 1 year! We LOVE the Poly, and have been able to afford to go in August when some great deals have traditionally become available to the general public.
