Help with clipart

When I save this image to my computer it has a black background. Can any of you talented people help me get rid of it, or tell me how to do it. I only have paint or word to work with.

When I save it, it has a transparent background. I looked at it in Word (I have 2007). You can right-click, goto Format Picture, select Fill, No Fill

When I go I save it, it has a black background. I followed your steps and it says no fill already

Save it or copy and paste? Often when I copy and paste a transparent gif it comes in with a black background. If I right click on the image, save it to my HD then open it in what ever program it comes in fine.

Thanks for the help.....Not really sure how I got it to work, but I finally was able to save it with out the black background
