Help with child dining credits

Hello everyone,

I have a question, and I will apologize ahead of time if this is a Disney No-No. Please don't flame me!
We have not stayed on disney property since pre-children and have never used the Disney Dining plan before. We are going in May are are planning to stay on site this time. I have all my ADRs and CS meals figured out with prices and everything. I have too many TS meals for the regular dining and not enough total credits for deluxe dining. My kids are 4 and 2, so my DD is not included on the dining plan. But eats like a pig and will probably need her own meal (plus her and her brother have very different food preferances!) I was wondering if we have extra credits on the deluxe plan could we use them to feed DD? I am assuming at CS we won't be questioned if we order 3 adult meals instead of 2, but say we went to BOG and ordered 2 adult meals and 2 child meals, could I use 2 child credits from the dining plan even though DD is only 2?

Again sorry if this is a silly question. I'll be paying for the meal either way, either out of pocket or by getting the dining plan (which is not 'free' for when we go in may). Just trying to save a few dollars if I can.

At TS meals you can only order what it says on your KTTW card. On your case it would say 2A 1C, so it is doubtful you would be able to do that.

Unfortunately that won't work. If you only have 3 people on the dining plan, that is the number of meals they will allow you to order at one sitting.

As mentioned, you cannot use more credits than people at one meal, but if you do buffets, your little one can unually get their own plate and they will also provide them with a free drink. Since you are on the deluxe plan, I assume you will be scheduling several ADRs. Try for buffets and then order anything else OOP. Have a great trip!
