Help with cake deliveries at Rainforest Cafe

I made a reservation for my dd's b-day at Rainforest Cafe and now I need to know who delivers cakes to the one downtown. If you know of anyone or any local bakeries where I can pick one up please let me know. Thanks in advance

Publix Grocery stores do lovely cakes!

Thanks so much, I just spoke with them and now I can cross that off my list of things to do. We have Publix here in Jacksonville and their cake are always yummy. The delivery charge is $30.00 but it will be worth it not to have to leave the park and do it myself.

Why don't you just order the volcano off the desert menu??

I called before ordering and they said people bring them in all the time . As for the volcano desert my dd is turning 5 and really wants an Ariel cake so...her wish is my command

Having run restaurants for several years, here is a few tips and questions I will throw your way.

Does the RFC charge a plate charge for the cake you are bringing in from the outside?

Do you plan to tip extra to the server for staying at a table(s) in his/her section, eating food not purchased at the restaurant?

Most people don't think about these amenities. And one last thought, when you tip the server extra for providing service during the time you eat non purchased food, it is always in good taste to give the server a piece of the birthday cake.


The server who works very hard for his/her tips will highly appreciate your efforts, and would certainly remember such a gracious customer.
