I need experts on the BWV...what is the difference between a preferred and standard 1 BR villa?

For DVC points reservations, preferred view is broken into 2 subcategories - preferred boardwalk (views of the boardwalk itself) or preferred pool/garden (views of the pools or garden areas). Standard view is rooms along the front driveway. If you book through CRO, I don't believe they assign a view category, it's just one rate and you get what DVC members don't book.

The difference is the view and the number of points used. A preferred 1BR overlooks the pool or BW. A standard view villa overlooks the BW resort entrance driveway and uses less points to book.
